Aesthetic medicine has made lightning progress in ten years! When I opened my aesthetic clinic in 2001, neither the same products nor the same techniques were available, so I was restricted to the correction of naso-labial folds (wrinkles starting at the nose and descending to either side of the mouth), marionette lines (folds starting at the corners of the mouth and going downwards), superficial wrinkles and those round the mouth. It was already magical, but I was still disappointed at having so little influence over the relaxation of the face and the sad, tired and old look which that caused.

Thanks to the revolution of hyaluronic acid (increasingly thick and volumising) and the arrival of Radiesse on the market, I could begin to sculpt faces, to reflate the apples of the cheeks, to refill faces hollowed by time, to redefine the jaw line … in short, to bring back their features.

Of course, it is much better to leave a little natural fault than to try to correct it at the expense of an ‘over-injected’ non-aesthetic result, such as can too often be seen.

How to carry out a face-lift without surgery? By playing on the shadows which appear over time (the temples, the dark circles, the tear troughs); by reshaping a face with Radiesse; by reflating the apples of the cheeks with a volumising hyaluronic acid such as Voluma, Sub Q or Teosyal Ultimate. The use of botox to relax the features at the top of the face without freezing them also contributes to the result. Treating several places with little touches, so that the corrections remain undetectable and have a completely natural look, while giving the effect of a facelift.

A FACELIFT BY INJECTION – IS IT POSSIBLE?
